logicalit: Looks like we've turned on the weather for the visitors as well, it's snowing out here in Leeston now, so I assume the city will be getting it in about 30 mintues if not already.. :-)

That walk to the Grail is looking a little chilly!

Dude, you live in the country and sound like a soft.... :-) It's persisting out my way.. /me just looks out the window, er snowing.... cool. The commodore with less traction.. wicked!! :-)

I am at the WLG airport now. I will restart tracking when I land in Christchurch. Therefore you will see a long straight line from WLG to CHC...

Keep an eye on the map and hit the refresh after 3pm...

See you all tonight!

I'll have you know that I've just been outside in the sleet, snow and rain to help the neighbour shift some sheep.
'Course I'm now sitting inside near the fire on my WiFi connected latop with a hot coffee and a cheese toastie, mainly because it was sodding cold out there.... Laughing

On a different topic,  anyone out lincoln/prebbleton/rolleston/hornby need a ride?  I'll be coming in from Leeston about 4:30ish, with three spare seats in the 4x4...  PM me before four...

Cheers, Chris H.

It is now snowing in the Chch CBD. Not heavy enough to hang around but it does seem to be getting heavier and has certainly moved on from the rain/sleet that was around about 30 mins ago!

That snow is settling in well now. But the Xbox360 compels me to go no matter what! I wonder how thick it will be on the ground by 5:30pm. I do want to get home in one piece!

For what it's worth, it's not snowing in here now, more heavy sleet and rain.   I'm 6k's out of Leeston, which is 50k from Hornby, give or take...  So if this front is your typical coming up the east coast dumping the city will probably be out of snow in 30 minutes...

The of course it could start snowing again, I'm not a weather forcaster..  Not that being one would help in this country.

And for the record, I've abandonded the fireside, despite my better judgement, and I'm in the workshop now, which is has a horrendous draft...  Time for some home maintenance me thinks...

Cheers, Chris H.
