Looks great Mauricio, +1 for a smartphone-friendly portal though.

Phil suggested he starts the mobile version with forums only. Yes, no?

No. Not everyone uses Facebook, not everyone wants to use Facebook. It's a pain to implement - everyone wants Facebook Connect, Google, OpenID, and so on. There isn't a standard so there isn't a reason to do it.

Also if somone compromises your Facebook/Google/OpenID account then they can access all the sites and services you use with the same shared login service.

Single sign on across domains is a horrible idea from a security point of view in my opinion.

Correct. And it's not hard to happen, since there are lots of people who willingly give their Twitter and Facebook account names and password to untrusted third parties just for the kicks of "new followers" or "how popular am I" type of services...

Yep, that sounds like a great idea.  Looking forward to browsing GZ forums on my PSP and Nokia phone

I would really like to see if that big Scoop banner ad space shrinks automatically without wasting screen real-estate when you subscribe.

The current format kicks that ad outta there, but the space is still unused.

And +256 for the mobile version starting with forums. iPhone and Android friendly versions would be welcome.

Just for clarification - we don't have "Scoop banner". Where did people get this idea from?
