As it is, I'm not changing it back. I am looking at Google Analytics over the next few weeks to see the impact and then will post here with some data.

I've always used the full site on mobile devices. It's never been an issue. Double tap the screen to zoom an element and I can read/type/modify what I need. I will, however, be boycotting the site if the WAP version disappears.

I access Geekzone about a third of the time on a mobile device. I found the mobile version unfriendly to use especially when trying to post something. I much prefer using the desktop site on my mobile devices.

And here I was taking my laptop outside today just so I didn't have to go thru the "use desktop version" BS.
Obviously missed this.

1eStar: I've been ignoring Geekzone for about 2 months hoping you'd fix the site. Will it ever be fixed so that the text is readable on a mobile device? Every forum link renders at a different zoom level. I use the native Samsung internet browser, and have no intention of changing to accommodate a poorly coded website.
Hmmm, I've never used a native browser on any device. However I've just tried the Samsung browser on my S3 tablet and I don't any different zoom levels however on an S7 we have lying around here I see some differences. I assume because of the smaller screen size on the S7.
As I've mentioned before in my opinion Opera is hands down the best mobile browser. I get consistent zoom levels with that no matter the device. I'd suggest your problem is as much to do with your browser as it is to do with the Geekzone website.
It's up to you but I'd highly recommend giving Opera a go. It got some great features which I'm sure the native Samsung browser has too, but the killer one is the text reflow when you zoom the text. (You have to enable it) No other browser I know of does this.

One thing I have noticed happening on mobile devices no matter which device or browser is used some functions/features are stripped out. For example there is no "Plus 1", no signature details, and when making a reply there is no no access to the formatting line which is normally directly above the text input box.
Any idea what's going on?

@freitasm I would like to volunteer making a responsive (for devices under 768 pixels wide) style for Geekzone. Just a little extra CSS to add to the style sheet to make the regular site more accessible on mobile.
