Really like the new layout as of right now. Will take a day or two to relearn to look left first rather than right.

Thanks for taking feedback onboard and being willing to experiment!

tdgeek:

The Trending Discussions don't seem to be in chronological order, newest at top.

(Feedback not complaint)

It's never been in chronological order, it's always been in order of engagement. It's the one that used to be at the bottom in the middle.

Discussions is chronological.

@handle9 is correct. I have explained how that is "calculated" in a previous page.

Also, no one mentioned that there's one less ad on that home page now.

Pretty much everyone here (this discussion) is a subscriber and wouldn't see it anyways though, right?

I'd assume so. I still have the show ads option enabled on my profile to keep an eye on what's being shown and if it's working...

How much work is involved in allowing an option to have the discussions on the right and news on the left? Was the font for the news increased in size?

No font changed. Work is probably in a couple of hours because would have to add a column to the database, create code to manage it and then code the homepage around having the option evaluated and the page changed accordingly for each request.

Yup, I'm seeing that as well. I'll have a fiddle and see if it's a cache or setting on my side. It's not a big deal, just slightly distracting.

Oh, the headlines. No change, same font size as ever before.

Could we label “discussions” as “‘latest discussion” or maybe “latest updates”.

Is it just me or does the new layout not work correctly on Edge browser? Discussions and Trending discussions show: If you don't see discussions automatically updating here, make sure javascript is enabled, your firewall is not blocking scripts or you are not using an ad blocker. You can disable the automatic update and see the static page by changing your user profile.

Geekzone live is working fine still on Edge

I use Edge exclusively and it works fine. There is no code change from before, just position change.

Done a small word change to the page.

@Behodar:

On the topic of homepage changes, maybe update the "We have just released ID verification" text; it's been about a year at this point so "just" is beginning to push it!

Changed the wording on that box.
