Aaroona:
DanielNZ: I know but they added GST to my termination fee.

Well they cant do that.

Also,
They wanted to charge me 160 to come off my Mega plan! LOL!

I looked it up, because the base of the plan is a YouChoose 20. And they are only able to charge me $40, if that. hahaha.

I didnt actually cancel my account at the time, because I had nothing else to move to, was just interested in findingo ut.

Thanks for the info. I called them and after half an hour (mostly on hold) they credited me $50 even thou the GST was $45. She said the extra was goodwill from Vodafone.Smile

It's a dead link so I can't check exactly what it is, but I'm pretty sure Vodafone offered an iPhone 250 plan which was the same as the iPhone 130 except you got 1GB of data each month. I think it was only available in-store.

In the early days there was a iphone250 plan which would give you a gig of data and other things for $250 dollars a month, this is how vodafone release the $199 iphone 3g

I'm not feeling too hopeful of getting one on Friday from MM. Sounds like they will be getting bugger all stock unfortunately. But I can always hope...

Let me work things out.

I got a 3g on launch day last year.

Im on the $60 a month plan.

Friday is 1 year since I signed up.

Therefore my best bet is to do an early resign and pay $150 on top of a new contract if I want the 32Gb phone.

That makes sense

I think the best idea is to buy one on a $40 plan, use it for the 3 Months where you get 1Gb of data and all those Pxts then Decide what network you want to be on as the cost is the Same as buying one outright just get plan charges for a few months...

Where is the early termination fee link? The one I have found says all prices are excluding GST: https://www.vodafone.co.nz/plans/ending-your-contract/vodafone-mobile-connect.jsp
