Thanks. I'm still not sure how to read this bit:

""If you cancel your sky starter or sky movies subscription during 2 month period, you forfeit the offer."

So if I cancel during second month so it ends at the end of second month, have I canceled during 2 month period, or would it count as to when the cancellation takes effect. Trying to work out if it's legal trickery to make people forfeit offer or pay for third month.

@Rugrat That is bad wording just ignore it, If you cancel anytime during any month Sky will always run to the end of the billed period

As others have pointed out, with Vodafone TV (standalone) you pay month in advance recurring from the day you first subscribe, and can cancel at any time but the service continues to the end of your pre-paid month (just like Netflix).

The offer is "Free Sky Movies for 2 months"...and to get it you must pay for Sky Starter (as always with Sky). So, what the legal bit for the offer is saying is that, if you cancel your Sky services (Movies or Starter or both) in the first month after taking up the offer, then you won't get the full 2 months Sky Movies for free (but you will have received 1 month free).... you forfeit the offer (which was free for 2 months).

<edit> ...And so if you cancel in the 2nd month you will receive the full 2 months of Sky Movies free.

Hi guys,

I was just looking through my invoices for the SKY services I have and noticed that I was charged $20.93 part month charge for 16 days of SKY Movies. It should have been $9.99 as $20.93 is a full month.

I don't have any other services with Vodafone and the chat ninjas couldn't help me with my bill query who should I contact to get this resolved?

VF TV is doing some strange stuff....

1. TV programmes will suddenly stop playing when using catch up TV

2. Fast forward or rewind will make the programme jump to some random point in the timeline.

3. Sound volume is all over the place. Playing a channel the sound will be fine, switch to another channel and the roof of the house will lift off.

4. I set a programme to record on TV1, 2 or Three and it will randomly record the SD Plus one channel, very annoying.

My unit is one the latest firmware.

Edit; @sansom any ideas for the above?

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

Not possible as VTV hasn't provisioned the +1 channels.

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

Interesting I did a quick check before starting work, I selected a random programme on TV2 I think it was Ben something and I had the option to catch up on TV2 or TV2 plus one.

@MikeB4 2) Already spoken about use the skip 20 seconds button above FF if you are watching using catch-up but the program has not finished

@Linux I know about the 20 seconds. This is different. As I said it is skipping to some random point, could be the beginning, 10 minutes forward, 15 minutes back, basically a lottery as to where it will end up. This is also occurring if the programme is not currently broadcasting.

Neon - poor picture quality

Does anyone else have problems with the Neon app on the VTV2 box ?

Since the last couple of evenings I have very poor picture quality using the Neon app. It's kind of blurry sometimes and moving objects showing interlace lines around the objects.

Watching any Freeview channel or anything on TVNZ on demand or Lightbox is fine.

The VTV box is wired to the Internet router.

Using the Neon app on my smart TV or Chromecast from my tablet does not have the problem.

I have done a power restart but issue is still there.

Just looked, and indeed those two options appear available for me too.

TV2+1 was provisioned for the home education programs during lock-down.
