Can't wait to test out 4G! Now just need a capable handset... Hopefully my HTC One is on time for early next week... would be unusual for anticipated stock to arrive on time however.

Vodafone NZ today has launched 4G / LTE on 1800Mhz FDD Cat4 the US have have made HSDPA+ 4G as well just to confuse matters it gets all very confusing

As someone who's been using 4G since the iPhone 5 launched the difference in battery life is very little if any.

just curious if we can get LTE connection with huawei E587 or LTE enabled pocket wifi on mobile broadband 2gb plan?

I have an iPhone 5 and just now notice that it has an 'enable LTE' slider that it didn't before. I wonder if that came in the 6.1.2 update or was activated when 4g coverage became available?

Anyway, I'm on prepay so no 4G for me. I was just wondering if switching LTE off will reduce battery drain somewhat? I know johnr says battery won't change much ON LTE, but what about off? In my experience, turning off radios you don't use prevents them from searching, which IS a big drain.

And if I do turn it off on the iPhone, will the 3G connection still be the DC 3G?

Doesn't turning LTE off remove access to dual carrier as well?

That is what I found.
