hio77:Wills1:hio77:NZCoderGuy: haha - I did notice when I logged in it says "Ultimate Pack standard" as my package.. I'm sure it wasn't that before? also does that mean there are going to be other "Ultimate Packs"?
Edit:
Sorry forget that, its referring to my calling plan as "Standard". Nothing new.
noticed that awhile back..
anyway, yep its june.. cant exactly expect its the 1st of june they are doing changes (although i was hopeful - who else counted down the days?)
all that was said was june, really that could even be at the end of june but ild expect in the next week changes should surface, maybe silently over queens birthday? :O
Considering we were told " Very Soon" on the 30th of April. It's been a long and disappointing wait.
as i said i was counting down the days hoping it would be like a 1st of june thing, but im not going to bother throwing my arms up about it, vodafone were quick off the mark the last few times data plans went up so maybe this is their turn to be a bit slower..
none the less .. steam downloads just get to pile up .. hopefully we will hear more from vodafone soon, or even better a sudden boost in cap :D
loganjames: And to add insult to injury when I logged in this morning not only was there no data cap increase but I found this lurking at the bottom of the page.

Odd, I don't see that; do you often pay late?
Must admit, even though I originally thought 60GB was all good, more recently we've been hitting the cap (or having to wait on some downloads to avoid hitting it)
Some games on steam are getting pretty large; especially when they have bundles on sale. and other usage seems to be increasing too.
I love the service from Vodafone, but lately I've been eyeing some of the offers from the competition with interest...

how much stuff do you download from steam (presumably a lot if you can;t download it on voda's current 60GB plan) and how do you get the time to play it all?

No I don't usually pay late. That is besides the point. Why wouldn't I just go with a company that isn't going to punish me for paying my bill?
Sorry vodafone its been a good 2 years but I'm off.

Please also note that TelstraClear and Telecom both already charge a late payment fee and have so for many years.?
It's a way of keeping the plan costs down for all customers as there can be very high costs associated with chasing late payments.

I fear this may get off topic but I the reason I was with vodafone naked was the $30 discount for having my mobile with vodafone. I switched and my wife will switch in September. I spend $200+ a month with vodafone and nobody there is interested in keeping my business.
NZCoderGuy: I had noticed the $10 late bill charge notice too. Another $10 added to the bill each month, devalues the package slightly more. (off topic none the less).
Come on Vodafone, lately have been pushing very close to my 60gb cap each month. We need more as standard!
Is this comment about keeping your business related to staff that can't speak about NDA related changes?
So you want staff fired to keep you happy?
loganjames:But since your here johnr any word on data caps?
