All the effort in that post and previous ones could have been used in a complaint to the CEO/CTO and others at vodafone or to the Commerce Commission about the substandard service you are receiving.

Its all well and good venting but if thats all your doing how can you expect your situation to change? doing nothing but vent on a forum from your end where no one in a position to implement or force chance is essentially as good as vodafone sitting on their thumbs.

Complaining here and complaining to the Commerce Commission are not mutually exclusive. Don't get me wrong: I'm still very much putting in a complaint to the Commerce Commission. I want to have everything lined up when I do complain, though. I don't want there to be a doubt in their mind that Vodafone has consistently misled consumers.

But if everyone wants me to shut up and be quiet, I suppose I can do that too - at least in this thread.

I will take offence if you think I've been doing nothing, though. We've already contacted Vodafone a good handful of times and I've had incredible luck with TDR. I'm mostly pissed that Vodafone still hasn't gotten anything sorted. I'd have thought that TDR would have been enough to get some timely solutions, but apparently not.

Saying that I am "doing nothing but ventomg on a forum" really is one of the most insulting things that anyone here has ever told me, though, and I took a while to cool down before writing this response just because of that. I've done more than I would have hoped would be necessary, and it really pissed me off when you practically belittled those efforts.

But I get it. You guys are sick of seeing my complaining. I'm sick of it too. I've invested far too much time and effort into it all. I've complained here. I've complained to Vodafone. I've complained to TDR. And now I'm looking at complaining to the Commerce Commission; or switching providers; or moving flat entirely.

So with that, I'm done posting in this thread. We all clearly understand that there are issues. But don't you dare interpret my silence as complacency. You have insulted me enough already.

im not entirely sure how you get anyone insulting you out of my comment but ok....

im trying to point out that if it were me i would have not put up with it for this long and would have put more effort in resolutions that would hopefully put more pressure on vodafone to do something about it.

I know you have been to the TDR and done all that.

This thread has been running for over 6 months now.

But if you think im insulting you cool. but i would really like to see vodafone rectify this issue for you and the other users and compensate its them with out the need for them to have to resort to the TDR etc

Fair enough. I probably interpreted your prior post in the most negative way possible, and I do apologise for losing my cool. I'm mostly frustrated with myself at this point. I hate that I have put up with this for so long. I should have ditched this service ages ago, but I just kept holding on to promises, and I kept getting burnt from doing so.

I really do want to see Vodafone reimburse everyone that has been affected by this. Unfortunately, I cannot imagine Vodafone doing such by their own goodwill, and the idea of complaining to the Commerce Commission only to have it shrugged off is a bit frightening. I am going forward with a complaint, though, and I will be posting updates. I'll try to keep my updates a bit more meaningful, however. Anger isn't going to solve any issues.

On a positive note, the connection was miraculously rock-solid yesterday. Not bad for a Saturday.  It was nice to be able to just enjoy the Internet as I would generally hope to. :P
