Anyone else recording Newshub live at 6?
We have been doing every day for the year or so we have had VTV. Usually works fine, occasionally not. Yesterday and today we tried to watch the recording and got a message saying the recording was available.
I've noticed that https://www.3now.co.nz/live-tv-guide/three is also not working ...

We don't have a VPN and this link worked fine on Saturday.

Ideas anyone?

Humm - both Newshub Live at 6 recordings and https://www.3now.co.nz/live-tv-guide/three came back to life on the same day, about a week after I posted.

Right now I'm more concerned that our recordings (and heaps of other details) have vanished. Will power cycle the box, then leave it and see if things have returned tomorrow.

Been a while since I've seen this asked, is there any sort of ETA for Sky Arena on VTV?

At the moment the only thing that's any sort of draw for the VTV box is the Sky coverage (the dishtv android dongle is cheaper and does everything else) and while I do like the ability to get most of the sky experience without trying to convince my landlord to stick a satellite dish on the roof, I'd be really keen for the payperview stuff like Sky Arena and Box Office to actually make it onto VTV.

Especially since while I've got an Android TV, WWE Network for example looks like garbage on it which I'm guessing is their adaptive bitrate stuff throttling it, so I'd love to watch the WWE pay per views in decent quality through the Vodafone TV box since Sky 5 for SmackDown and RAW has a decent stable picture quality.

We have been recording TV3 6pm news every day since we got our VTV. Most of the time it works OK. Sometimes it won't play back, but not often, until now!
Over the past two weeks the recording has failed to play back six or more times. The entry appears in the 'Recorded' section, but throws up an error when we try to play it.

Anyone else having similar issues?

Anyone recording TV3 6pm news successfully?

Any positive thoughts welcome thanks.

Steve

This may have been asked and answered, (but if it has I can't find it) but has anyone else had issues with the Three Now app not loading, simply sits at the Three Now logo and nothing ever happens??

Very rarely - maybe three times in a year. Sort power cycle (off/on with the remote) fixed it for us.

Could be an intermittent issue their side. The app is a special Vodafone TV version hosted by them.
The VTV simply points to it.

Hi team

Have a weird one here.  Had got moved from the TBoxes onto fibre with Vodafone as the tboxes are all getting shut down,  and since then certain channels will go black and not display.  If I unplug everything it will fix it but only for a few hours,  a day at most.  But without fail, its the same channels that stop working.

I ve had the gen2 box replaced 3 times.  so new HDMI cables each time.  Noel Leeming techsolutions has come out and set the box up.

But still the issue remains.   Any ideas as to what would be causing this or has any one else had the same issue before and got it resolved somehow? I have an LG TV thats about 7 years old.

The channels that keep going black are 1,7,8,12,13,16,21,24,61-74,201,202,203,204,205,206.

If it was an issue with the gen2 box, wouldnt replacing it not once, but twice, have fixed the issue?  And why would the feed I am receving be any different than anyone elses? Vodafone are saying I am the only person to have had this channel problem, otherwise they would have tons more calls about it.  Is it my TV?

Are you using Wifi or Ethernet? Do you have the Vodafone Ultra Hub router?

Do the channels go black while watching the channel?
Do they just go black, or do they break up a little be for going black?
Do you still get sound when the channels are black?

hi thanks for your reply.   Its using the deco superwifi and is plugged into that with ethernet.  but the superwifi booster is downstairs and the modem is upstairs so there is some wifi involved.

I also forgot to mention that the menu will also black out.  Eg, if i go menu then apps, i cant scroll to fast.com to run a speed test on the gen2 box as the screen.  Then i  have to either hit the back button or a channel number to get something on the screen again.

@djtotago.  the current programme information shows along the bottom for 1-2 seconds at most then goes black. No sound.

So it knows what its supposed to be doing but cant display the programme.  using an ultrahub router that has been factory reset but not replaced yet.
