Did the subscription update on the portal about 20 minutes ago and only the free to air channels are present. The channels show in the iPhone App and I can request a record. O have done a power cycle.

Go into menu/settings/content settings/unsubscribed channels

Toggle it between show and hide or hide and show

Hi guys,

Since I have SKY Sport via VTV when do the extra Olympic channels pop up? Anyone know how this is going to work on VTV?

Very unlikely Voda have any decode/encode capacity due to budget constraints, i.e., we will be out of luck on any extra channels.

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

Hi there.,

The extra channels are currently being added for the Olympics on Fri 23rd.

Channel numbers will be 53-59 and 600-604 (12 channels total)

Cheers
Grant

Hi,

Perhaps this has been asked before (after searching, I found several references to deleting recorded programs), but I have been helping a friend (we are both 75 year olds) convert from MySKY to a Vodafone TV box. He's moved into a retirement village.

We seem to have worked most things out, but the most frustrating feature is that after performing the delete action to several recorded progs and receiving acknowlegement they've been deleted, they don't disappear from the MYTV screen when opening the menu.  Is this a feature? Is there a time lag before some or all drop off? Do the last couple always stay there or is there something we've missed in the "delete" process?

I also installed the Vodafone TV app on his iPhone, but every time the app is opened it wants to scan the Q code on the screen. After doing so, the app works,  but doesn't save the process to memory. Close the app and re-open it, it wants to scan the Q code again.  (I'm an Android user, so iPhones are a mystery to me!).  Have I installed the wrong app and is there one that he can call up a TV prog on the menu and set it from a location other than where the box is, to record?

I don't suppose there's a detailed guide for operating the box? I can't find one on Google.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Tony C.

Hi, apologies if this has been replied to earlier, but my problem is that I am getting frustrated with constantly having to unplug the back of the box and plug back in again to get it going.

Every day

It seems ok to turn off for a few hours, turning off the tv then on again, but around 8 hours or so seems to be the tipping point.

I turn on the TV and absolutely nothing will work on the remote, black screen, remote just flashes red when you push a button. light is often white under the box, so maybe it isn't shutting off properly?

I mean I can fix it by power cycling the box, but it's quite a pain. I have complained to Vodafone and they have sent me Deco Super Wi-fi, which is great, but sadly hasn't fixed the issue.

I have checked for a software update, says its ok, done many full resets....maybe it's a problem with the standby mode, I can only select instant on mode, it won't let me select standby mode...dunno...any ideas would be appreciated!

If connected over WiFi connect it over Ethernet and see if same issue happens!
