Also, I can change the IPTV to "manual setting" but I don't get he Internet box option, just the two LANS.

might pay to update the firmware on the device maybe?

Aitchy: It says Internet status: ethernet WAN - DHCP connection failed.

It is showing a wired connection with an IP address but I don't know if that is the ONT.


I'm assuming the Internet connection is working fine when the Vodafone router is plugged in?

It should be as simple as putting the settings in as per your first post, then plugging in the ONT. Are you able to post a shot of that status page?

Just want to say a big thank you to froob and tripp and the others who responded with helpful suggestions. I contacted ASUS who said to update the firmware (so you were right tripp) so I did that and it is working great now.  I also managed to get the home phone to work as per the instructions linked here. 

 

I haven't had a chance to test the camera out yet as I have to link it directly to the router for initial set up, but here's hoping.
