Hi,

If you send me your details (mobile number) to stephen.webber@vodafone.com I can take a look at this tomorrow.

The situation you describe does sound very strange and not inline with our Ts and Cs - so I'd be interested to take a look and see what's happened and see how I can help.

Cheers,

Steve

You should stop assuming that it's his issue and but out! This adds nothing to the thread.

What value are you adding? I know why it was deactivated and it's not the reason the OP is saying

Edit: Prepay product owner has stepped in now so let's hope he / she will find out why and post an update why the number was deactivated

Unless you are currently working for Vodafone, have seen his account and have talked to the OP directly about the issue you can't know for sure.

If you work for Vodafone and have done the above i'll eat my words, but until then you're contributing nothing to the thread aside from harassing the OP.

Let Vodafone deal with it, its between them and the OP.

If you don't have anything constructive to say then please, don't say anything.

I worked for VodafoneNZ for just over 17 years and the last 8 on the Surepay platform

I have very extensive knowledge of the platform in fine detail

Was even ALU trained on the Application and databases then Nokia took it over

And yet you still would not know if:

  • This is a bug
  • The OP has been given bad information
  • The OP has been sold the wrong type of sim card
  • etc.......

The point is, you don't know the full story, some times it isn't the obvious answer, you can't make these assumptions.

Anyway, ill leave it here as I don't want to detract from the thread.
