any VF staff around ?

my prepaid was been deactivated last Wednesday cause i didn't use it in the 90 days

but still top up  to end of may

rang VF  on Friday to the said they would reactivated it and i need a new prepaid top up voucher

they say they give a leeway of a few weeks so getting it reactivated is no problem

and to ring them up with the top up number when i got one.

got a top up voucher and rang VF they say they cant do anything cause they say it has not been topped up since 2013 when it has

and to talk to sales

talked to sales they cant do any thing

I went on chat they say they will reactivated it give them the sim number etc and they say it not the right slim number then after 10 min

they say the phone number can only be used on a monthly plan

@biggal Prepaid connections don't get deactivated for non use in 90 days

They only get deactivated for not topping up for 13 months and 1 day

There is nothing in the prepaid terms and conditions about using the phone every 90 days or the number will be deactivated and never has been

Further to this many reminder SMS are sent out before prepaid credit expires and the prepaid number is deactivated

Having just been through the VF prepay options, the OP description of events makes no sense to me.  Something is missing or there is a misunderstanding somewhere.

100% incorrect what they have stated I worked on the system for many years and what they are saying is not correct and never happened

You failed to Topup as per T&Cs and also they can see SIM history to MSISDN, If that SIM number was never active with the MSISDN then you can't ID against the mobile number

@biggal Did you read my first post?

Prepaid connections are not deactivated for this reason and never have been end of story

So I have no idea why you repeated this reason if someone in VodafoneNZ told you this was the reason why they are 110% incorrect

I was about to post the same question, as Warehouse Mobile require topups every 90 days. I lost $12 of credit last year as I was 1 day late topping up my sons account. They basically told me tough luck 🙁

I have a VF pre pay sim in our gate opener. It does not use any credit - I just need to keep it live by topping it up annually.

The downside of this is that I now have a $40 balance on the SIM that will increase but never get used...!

That’s interesting, what is the setup, and why do you have this (if you don’t mind explaining)?

@biggal We'd like to know what the end result of this was?
