davidcole:

So what is the logo, the kiwi thing, or the green circle and white dot?

The green circle. But the kiwi thing would be cool.

Let's hope it's not a black hole in middle of the green ring.

Reminds me of the old joke that the Tijuana Brass leaves a green ring 😋

All this and still no e Sim.

Priorities......

Also I feel I one is a silly name, not descriptive at all.

Big pipe

Skinny

Much more descriptive.

A large organisation can run multiple work streams. Sure, no eSIM yet but my guess is they are separate projects, running at different paces.

Not sure the eSIM project is really running.... more a slow walk/drunken stumble 😂

Yes we’re changing!

And, yes, many of you guessed correctly. @jasonparis has announced that in early 2023 Vodafone will change to One NZ. We’re going from red to green, from eight letters to three, from global to local. This means we’ll be able to invest more into simpler and better products and services and making Aotearoa even more awesome.

My first ever AM radio network connection was with a 1MHz AM crystal(OA91) radio receiver.

Heard the exact same argument when Telecom rebranded into Spark...

And with the new name choice they can save a fortune when rebranding.

Just issue black pens and staff can cross out the first 5 letters as required.

Cheapest reband ever :)

It seems to me that "One New Zealand" ought to be the brand of some vaguely sinister right-wing political party.
But maybe that's just me
LOL

And thousands of Warriors supporters groan they need to buy new shirts.

Nah, you can wear an old jersey.  No problem.  I still have my 1990s Otago NPC jersey.

Wonder if the 'local' focus means moving all of their support back on shore soon?

It always cracked me up that the Spark logo looks like crossed wires. (I assume it's meant to be a wild card character).

A new logo didn't improve service levels for spark.
