OK - Just bugged Vodafone again and got a case number. They're going to "update me" when/if they hear anything. I encourage you all to contact them (I used the chat rather than explaining over the phone). Hopefully we'll all get some faster traction and action happening if you all call them as well :)

Why? Maxine has probably already let the tier 2+ team know...

They are away today(as it's Sunday).

More examples is actually good also we need cases. Will have a discussion on Monday with this thread linked as per previous post.

OK - thanks Maxine - appreciate it. We're on static 1000/100 based in Wainuiomata, Lower Hutt. Our case number is CS0312534 FYI. Enjoy the rest of your day :)

Same issue here in Wellington.

I am a live broadcaster and this is currently heavily impacting my job as I have next to no upload speed.

3 days and counting I've had to call in.

Typically 900/100

But when manually selecting Vodafone as the server everything looks good as below

But all uploads/live broadcasting are unable to connect and file uploads are taking a millennia to upload so must be connecting to another server??

I've been in contact with Vodafone who advised no issue and to do all the modem checks but this has done nothing.

Just to remind everyone (who relies upon on their broadband for work etc) that there are different levels of service agreement, you can’t expect this to be resolved immediately on a sub $100 broadband plan

If you need more immediate fault resolution there are suitable business grade plans with service level agreements to suit

Just for completeness also problems with upload speed also on 1000/100 plan on HFC. Located in Karori

Upload is normally 100+ Download about 700

Done all the rebooting stuff and turn everything off.

Currently to Xtreme Networks server in Wellington download 827 upload 1.12 at 6.23pm Sunday

The problem started Friday night as I recall.

So that when you start to discuss a credit or getting out of a term when there are ongoing issues you have a record of telling them that you are not happy with the service that they are providing you. So that they have numbers to work with as I bet a large number of their customers will do nothing when this happens as it doesnt affect them enough or they just blame the apps that are not working properly over it.

You know that's not it works. I know it's not how it works (but aren't convinced it shouldn't be how it works), but it's NOT what the majority of the public expect. They expect internet to be like their power, for it to just work, all the time, and if it stops working, it to be fixed urgently, and them to be compensated if it's not.

Also just to confirm for others this does appear to be HFC specific, not Vodafone at large. Vodafone UFB in Kapiti is giving full speed for me.

Oh bugger, i didn't even notice, no I'm on HFC here not fibre.  Brain fade!

Perhaps @freitasm or a mod could change the thread title for me to read HFC not Fibre.

Got my neighbor to do a test on Vodafone HFC and his is getting 320kbit upload currently on most Speedtests (Wired Ethernet).

Said he can't broadcast to Twitch currently. So appears there is a problem with VF Cable here in Kapiti also.

I forgot to say that if you use the Vodafone server for the test then the upload is 100 as normal
