I have gone from Snap VDSL to VF unlimited VDSL and the speed is identical all hours of the day. Been on VF VDSL since 20/5. I am very happy.

The only thing I have noticed is that occasionally the web site stuff.co.nz takes ages to load, even when loading 5 others at the same time, (engadget, geekzone, google apps etc, foxtel AU, isky etc).

Not sure what it is about? Are VF not peering with stuff.co.nz?

I have noticed slow NZ Stuff as well. I thought it was something to do with Unotelly that I am running. Maybe not....

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

Reboot all gear and let us know if it changes.
WiFi, Ethernet? Create another topic if you still have the issue.

I took the plunge and signed up for 130/10 last Saturday. When I called on Friday to ask when installation would be happening, it sounded like they hadn't scheduled an install and had to arrange it then. I've been given a date for 1 July.

Looking forward to having decent speed (especially on upload) as no fibre being rolled out here (Karori, Wellington) for at least a few more years.

Can anyone let me know what sort of upload speeds you get for dropbox and flickr? TIA

Unlimited will most likely be on the job sheet for the swap for 130/10. So happens at the same time.

Originally, when I logged into the customer zone, it was showing I was on the 80GB plan rather than unlimited.

While it still shows as 80GB, I was told it would definitely be unlimited. Guess I need to wait for the actual install and the connection to be active.

After I installed Privacy Badger, Stuff was very very broken.  On examination it appears there is a huge amount of crap being loaded in Stuff pages.

I did call them and had it changed to unlimited. While it still shows as 80GB in the customer zone, it no longer shows a current period. I assume this would be corrected when the install occurs...image below:

I'm being charged $65 rather than $55 per month for 80GB cable (have eligible mobile plan, which I signed up for at the same time as the cable plan), is there anyone able to help out? Getting phone support has been fairly unsuccessful (I generally don't have the time required to wait and they don't have a callback feature for Telstra I believe).
