MikeB4:
I wont ring VF again as the experience is what I imagine getting a colonoscopy is like.
Fentanyl and midazolam is delivered via IV, most find it pleasant.

have you actually ordered fibre yet?
Apologies all, a couple of nodes issues this morning - under investigation - can't show on the website (new website) but will advise as and when I hear more.
My connection yesterday was flaky in the arvo according to the kids (WWG node I believe), but a modem restart sorted that out. I have no idea whats changed or happened, since I can't log into the damn thing anymore :-)

I had agreed with VF to persevere, I regret that a lot right now.
Waiting to hear back from Vodafone, my wife has given a deadline of lunchtime that's when she gets back from her business trip. That's a deadline that must be obeyed, I agree with her she cannot have this rubbish any further.
She Who Must Be Obeyed wants fibre.
She is a wise woman.
Get fibre and enjoy a decent internet connection. ![]()

I like the new look Vodafone web page, however they need to be honest about their network status on the page. Doing so would probably take pressure off the Contact Centres

I agree. It doesn't ever seem to reflect reality.

Clearly there are still ongoing issues with the network as its stability is very questionable. FibreX (and I hate calling it that) is now 12 months old and far from perfect.

Old school loyalty (stupidity) also still under contract and I was told I would have to pay ETC

I wonder if DOCSIS 3.1 was a step too far
