HTTP Traffic failing to various sites. However if you are using HTTPS to same IP it works fine.

Lower Hutt. Couldn't do much most of the afternoon. Couldn't get onto Geekzone but I did manage to get through to clear.net.nz.

+1, MANY sites unreachable this afternoon, including GZ.

I'm a geek, a gamer, a dad, a Quic user, and an IT Professional. I have a full rack home lab, size 15 feet, an epic beard and Asperger's. I'm a bit of a Cypherpunk, who believes information wants to be free and the Net interprets censorship as damage and routes around it. If you use my Quic signup you can also use the code R570394EKGIZ8 for free setup.

Wellington Central, cable.

Cant say I've had any performance problems at all recently.

Just have the occasional You Tube Video failing to start, But downloading it with Freemake Video Downloader solves that problem.
Been watching quite a lot of long 20+ Minute You Tube Videos recently, and are about a quarter of the way through watching all the WKRP In Cincinatti episodes that are available on You Tube.

All my regularly visited websites are working fine.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Interesting.

Last weekend my net got the go slows, time outs- pages loading without html and so on.
Thursday, After the first Manila guy hung up on me, the second went through the usual, which I had already done and then announced there was nothing wrong and they'd
A)Bill me $140 for a new modem
2)Send a tech

Friday it resolved without me doing anything or any techs arriving.
This morning it has the go slows again.

But mine is Telecom, not Telstra.
