dpw:I signed up for Fusion last Saturday 26 /1 my Internet Speed went Full Speed yesterday 31/1 and the phone was disconnected can you tell me when you expect the number to be ported across.
Actually, that's interesting...
My homeline has been disconnected too. My VFX has been active for quite some time now but there appears to be no "customer link" set up. If I call my original number, which is to be ported, I get "this number is disconnected" type of notification.
I was under the impression Xnet was going to organise all the necessary steps in porting the number across?
Shash: Has anyone successfully ported their TCNZ number and using VFX and Fusion?
WXC is chasing their tails since my two lines went dead!, Numbers ported okay, I had two numbers ported when they came back on line and worked pretty much for an hour on Friday the 1st Feb then all went garbage.
Battling with WXC tech team to get my line up.... going in circles... reset to factory many times, spending many hours calling WXC helpdesk. The ping pong drama continues.
It’s me who put myself in to this situation, watch out guys if you are thinking of moving to WXC!! Grass aren’t green here.

I was under the impression Xnet was going to organise all the necessary steps in porting the number across?Gee this is a bit concerning isn't it..? It seems to be happenning to me to. I rang Xnet/WxC Last monday and was advised that NDSL will be put on my line "in 6-10 days", and at the same time Xnet will create a VFX account for me, with a temp number. Then, 4 days after NDSL comes online my old Telecom number will be ported across to my VFX line. Well, my phone went dead last Friday and I found out that they've put NDSL on my line already, and I had to ring Xnet to get them to create the VFX account for me. So right now my VFX is working fine, but I'm still waiting for the number porting bit. If I ring my old Telecom number I too get the "this number is not allocated" message - could it mean customlink is not setup properly? I really want to keep my old Telecom number and fingers crossed it will be ported OK. And by the way, while I understand this few days where I could end up with a temp VFX number, Xnet did promise me that any calls to my old Telecom number would be forwarded to my VFX number, which hasn't happened at all.Am wondering if anyone else is having the same issues?

Can you send me the details of this, I will take a look and see what is happening, this has only just been put in place remember with ourselves and Telecom to help resolve sonme of the delays and confusion in customer linking so there may be holes, don't know this until I check of course.
FYI Porting actually works very well and have a large number of ports already done since number portability became available early last year so this wont be an issue, the problems appearing is the timings in getting all the services, cancelled, provisoned and redirected and then ported, there are a large amount of Telecom systems and physical work that needs to changed and updated to get a Naked DSL service and it is VERY complicated, we are trying to take the pain away and are working to try and improve the process, it will take time but we are working on it.

I figured it's all just a matter of ironing out the kinks in a fledgling procedure. I'm not hugely worried since I can still use my temporary VFX number for now. As long as my original number is ported some time soon it will all be just fine and dandy.

maverick: As stated in the the other thread it appears to be some sort of corruption in YOUR config which we have to sort out, also when I looked at your accounts we had 2 devices listed for you as a 3102 and a 2102 and not knowing that you wanted the number from your 3102 moved to your new 2102 also caused some confusion, were happy to work through any issues with you and have done so on a number of occassions including helping you with the 3102 on several occassions, so in saying that the "grass aren't green here" I do think we work hard to resolve indivdual issues and will continue to do so.
maverick: Both Lines are now back UP Shash, They are both up and registered, there was a corruption and we have now fixed this and all should now be fine.
