Ragnor: @ronindando
I think you missed the point.
She had Telstraclear landline (over Telecom wholesale equipment) + Xnet standard adsl (over Telecom wholesale equipment).
Telstraclear unbundled her exchange and moved all the lines they previously supplied via Telecom wholesale to their own equipment, obviously when they do this her Xnet standard adsl is not going to work as her line has physically been moved from Telecom wholesale equipment to Telstraclear hardware.
Clearly they (Telstraclear) didn't account for the people who has standard adsl with a different provider and did a very poor job or warning their customers about this change over.
Now she has to pay either Xnet or Telecom to move her physical line back to Telecom wholesale equipemtn and to port her phone number.
Ragnor: I think she would have a fairly strong case at the disputes tribunal against Telstraclear if she wanted to bother pursuing it.

4. Then finally get tolls hooked back up with Telstraclear, via non coded access - depending on whether or not Telstraclear still allow this (they might just transfer you back to the Telstraclear network to restart the process).

I just checked, and no, you can't do this anymore. It's either ALL services (phone, broadband, tolls) with Telstra Clear, or nothing.
