sub: After seeing the numbers you guys were getting I decided to check out the speed I was getting. I was getting about 7-8Mbps.
I quickly discovered if I remove my old 8 year old D-link 10/100 broadband router, and connect my PC directly to my cable modem, then I'd get 15Mbps. Wow. Confirmed this much faster speed was useable to me in the real world (by downloading a big file from easynews). Hmm... I have to get this speed all the time.
So, I think I'm about to replace my old route with a newer router. Anyone care to recommend a router? I dont need wireless on this router, so this feature will be disabled if present. I'm basically after 4 10/100/1000 ports, plus extra port for WAN, decent firewall and configuration options, and not going to slow things down horrendously like my old D-link.
Internet is my backyard...

jonherries: Hey, does anyone know when we get our allowance pushed up to the new level? Is that on our next rollover? Mine isn't till the 17th
If so would canceling my account and re-signing today be a better option?
