sansom:

Once linked, all boxes can record and access the same recordings from the 500hours of cloud storage for $25/mth per box.

Hi, just checking, do you mean $25 per extra box, so if I had two I would pay $25 on top of Sky charges?

Requests for improvement:

- Customise the start menu. i. e.remove the "On Demand" - only seem to be for Sky channels (Don't have Sky)

- Option to go to next/previous day in the program guide without having to go back to the top of the screen.

Probably more to come but so far happy with the device. Only got it for 3 days tho.

You can jump to next/previous day in the guide by pressing the FFFwd or Rewind buttons.

Cheers

Yes I know but than if you hold it for to long it skips to far.

Maybe I should re-word it to:

- Option to go to skip 24 hours forward/back in the program guide without having to go back to the top of the screen.

From previous posts its clear there are software updates to come to enable new features,

* Will these software updates be pushed or does the user have to trigger it?

* Will there be a notification on screen after a software upgrade with a list of new features and/or bug fixes?

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

We push the software update over-the-air to all VodafoneTV boxes, meaning that your box will update itself automatically in the early hours of the morning. (You can also check for updates manually by going to Settings > More Settings > Updates. This is not required however, you box will update automatically when scheduled to do so.)

Unfortunately, the VodafoneTV UI does not currently have the capability to display a list of new features and bug fixes. Rest assured that we will post here with a list of features and fixes though!

The VodafoneTV Gen2 box uses the Broadcom BCM7271 (ARM architecture) system-on-a-chip with embedded 4x4 WiFi.

The antennas are located at the top of the box, just under the Vodafone logo.

I've read 32 pages of this thread and various websites.  Does anyone know what are the free live streaming channels that are available?  This is via our internet connection (not tv aerial).  On a computer we only can get TVNZ and TV3 live streaming.

Cheers.

@rayonline You are kidding me right? It's on the main Vodafone NZ site on the TV page

Pre-installed apps and channels

https://www.vodafone.co.nz/tv/

You know Sky / Netflix ETC.... are subscription services so the FTA air channels are free

Thanks for that.  The wording was not specific.  I thought it might be a possibility I had to subscribe to Sky in order to watch Prime.  I went to the Sky Go website, signed up but I cannot stream anything not even Prime.

It said the following:

Netflix and some channels and apps require additional subscription.Content, features and functionality vary according to subscription types.
