Probably will only add support to the S10+ next...

So what's the advantage of VoLTE over HD Voice from a user's perspective?

No need for phone to drop to 3G during a phone call. Handy if tethering at the time.

Mandatory for Rural Broadband (RBI) when dropping to 3G means cell tower switch and no internet for duration of phone call!

Not correct as data still works on 3G when on voice call

Data should still work (in theory) but in our case the 3G is serviced from a different  tower and the data connection drops - Vodafone don't want to know or help

Solution to stop data connection drop

1)  set B525 modem to "4G only" and use mobile phones instead of landline/voice number

2) persuade Vodafone to provide 2nd B525 modem for the voice service

3) VoLTE

Barely IME on vodafone. Sometimes twitter will even timeout refreshing when a call is active.

Does anyone know when this will be fully rolled out across the rest of the network or at least more of Auckland?

I heard it was suppose to be complete by end of June...
