May have nothing to do with update, but noticed over half of Sky 5 has "No Information". Wouldn't be good for a Sky Subscriber.

Also some programs on ESPN and other Sport programs same description. So can't be recorded or catched up on.

Hope for Sky people the No Information is a bug and not deliberate. I'll have another look tomorrow night.

The MySky box is showing the guide for Sky 5 etc fine, with no missing programs.

Also in the update, I've only done it from a restart program, it just shows the picture that was on screen when started fast forwarding, the same picture just stays there until hit play.

TV2 Is showing "No Information" from 11:30 to 23:30 on 19/10/2019 as well under UI Version 51.5711 EPG Date Sat Oct 19 2019 09:59:41.

There was an issue, now resolved. Reboot your stb or wait and this will resolve.

cws82us: Will we see sky arena and sky box office on Vodafone tv?

Yes, but no date yet sorry.  The platform can allow one-off rental of the On Demand content if you don't subscribe to it (ie Sky Movies, Sky SoHo), it's just we don't yet have the commercial agreements and processes in place to allow this. We're also going to provide universal search and personalised recommendations across all the various content, including within the apps.

In the meantime, instead of Sky Box office, you can rent movies using YouTube (go to Play Store on mobile or pc and buy the movie there - it then shows up on the VTV YouTube app), or Lightbox. And, until we get universal search going, I find the Justwatch app (available on iOS and Android) a great way to find what's available of the various SVOD and TVOD platforms in NZ.

Hi this programme (Sunday, 6pm, SkySport2) appears to be recordable?

It's the program on Prime, as I do not have Sky Sport, that I wished to record, which does not appear to have the recordable status in the guide.

OK, thanks.  We'll chat to Sky then as it doesn't seem right to have it recordable on Sky Sport, but not on Prime.

Sky 5 has all its information on the TV Guide.  There is a known bug where some STBs occasionally don't load the guide correctly - this is being worked on.

Hi, just found that you haven't received the OTA update: it appears there was a major systems failure (which is code for I missed adding your DM request to the list!  Apologies!)  Will send through now and see if we can get it done over the weekend, otherwise Monday.

@sansom

Hi Hamish, thanks for the info.  Now I know it was not me or something I was doing. Things happen and with what you do and are doing I can completely understand.

Cheers

Graham

Greetings re Iheart Radio and RNZ

Iheart radio doesn't work - just to be sure reboot VTV box (via ethernet) the interface has been blinking at 5 sec intervals for 7 mins - then 95 secs of very choppy RNZ National feed then nothing for the last 14 mins. The last time I managed to 'listen' the feed had a delay of nearly 4 mins

RNZ is available via Sky and VTV (TBox) recordable as a TV feed and Freeview and they advertise it as such. This should be treated by Vodafone just the same as Parliament TV as a broadcaster of record and have the accessibility respect it deserves.

thanks db

The iheart app doesn't seem to like NZ stations. I just tested one of the suggested American ones and the sound is choppy also, similar'ish to how the Netflix app behaves with sound.

I would like to make some suggestions for the Vodafone Gen2 Set Top box UI:

When you have deleted the oldest episode in a series or if there are more recent episodes in the series the display should, after removing the display for that episode that was deleted, move to the next more recent episode in the series with the highlighted button being the delete button so that next one can be easily deleted, or if there are no more recent episodes it should move to the next older episode if there is one.

Also there should be an option to delete all episodes in a series but leave the scheduled recording of future episodes in the series in place, and an option to delete all previous episodes.

Another improvement I would like to suggest for the Vodafone Gen2 Set Top Box is for recordings to default to displaying the oldest recorded episode first, so that when viewing a series it can be easily viewed in sequence, without having to use the button above the rewind button, on the remote, to get to the oldest recording.

I see 2 reviews are up from the warehouse and one of them says they couldn't register two VTV devices with the same email.

Anyone having to unplug their unit on a daily basis just to get it working?

Everyday when I try to use it, I get a blank screen (black) and no audio.

I have to unplug it to get it working again.

I've tried a software reset.
