I've been trying to find out without luck so far if Sky TV can now be bundled, lady I spoke to yesterday couldn't give me a straight answer. Looking at the website I get the impression we would have to move away from the TCL plan we're on.

sbiddle: If you have a mortgage on a fixed rate do you expect your bank to change your rate if a new fixed rate becomes available?

I agree with that.

I'd like to know where I stand.  I'm not in contract but I'm paying $115 for 100Gb, which is a $30 difference.

Do I just email Johnr to get this value?

Do I have to sign to a 12 month contract?

Personally I'm more interested in the sort of UFB value that Orcon is delivering, but Vodafone don't seem to even come close on the cable network at present.

On a call with Vodafone. The CSR doesn't know the 15G plan is $95.95, thinks it is a promotion. Being transferred now.

After a couple of minutes he came back and effected the change for me.

Notice: you have to call and ask to change plans. It's not automatic.

I wonder if Vodafone will drop the clear.net.nz and paradise.net.nz email addresses anytime soon?

I know TCL was considering dropping the paradise domain completely.

Cool, I assume you mean 150Gb.

Did you have to agree to a contract term?

What number do we call?

I called the 0508 number in the TelstraClear invoice. I did not have to agree to a contract term.

Just call them.

langers1972: Congrats VF, you've just pi$$ed off most of your existing TCL customers within 24 hours!

Regardless of the fact that my existing contract is 24 months, it was signed with a now defunct company and you'd have thought VF would be keen to make migrated customers feel that the changes were beneficial.

Roll on 24 months and the power to choose!

Have you actually called and spoken to anyone?

Yes, I have actually called and spoken to someone hence my displeasure at being told that I couldn't change to new structure until contract is up for renewal

I actually fail to see why you're so angry. You're in a term contract, the fact it's been purchased is a moot point. ISP's and telcos change pricing all the time and don't change pricing for those in contracts.

If you have a mortgage on a fixed rate do you expect your bank to change your rate if a new fixed rate becomes available?

I was always under the impression that the contract was with the telco as opposed to the actual plan, as changing plans with another telco didn't matter where it was in my term as I am still paying them?

Are you under a contract term with time left on it?

I am on 20gb Naked cable BB plan in CHC and just rang the 0508 # and spoke to someone regarding the Vodafone 60GB for same price and they put me through to someone in NZ, the person was very friendly and upgraded my data to 60GB (should be tonight/tomorrow), so 200% more data at same price and terms (no contract).

It does say->

'Pricing valid for new customers signing up to InHome from 1 April 2013. InHome terms and conditions apply.'

So, Thankyou Vodafone

Very happy.
