kiwipawl: These plans sound great, but what I would really like from Vodafone is a timely delivery of my TXT messages.

I sent a text to someone in Raumati South at 1148 this morning and they only recieved it at 1656 this afternoon when they moved out of Raumati South!!!!!!

This is not the first time this has happened.

Yes I have had that issue a number of times - with some even turning up over 24hrs late!

Just got a text from Vodafone to let me know about the next time my plan renews i will be on their new Prepay Carry Over 29 plan

Correct we are moving all customers on ' 19 ' and ' 29 ' to the new carry over plan,

All I want for Christmas is a $19 or $29 on account carry over plan. Will VF Santa offer these I wonder? Am currently on a retired Easy 20 on account plan for $17.30 which gives $10 broadband discount at home but no data.

Great little snippet of info - did not know that. Does this work on Spark too?

Edit: Tried it and did not appear to work on Spark prepaid.

This news is great for overall competition in the market. Hopefully Spark will be induced to follow suit - otherwise there is nothing to bind me to them and I will move to VF soonish. Number portability is our friend.

Cause it's not carry over, They need to be on base plan ' Prepay ' not ' PrepaySmart '

PrepaySmart is a retired base plan

Thanks, I switched her to the $29 carryover plan as she always uses more than 512mb data.

The difference is VF is missing out on new customers because they're not even telling people it exists!

This was the main advantage 2degrees had

Plus existing customers might not know they have it? have you sent them text notifications?

No facebook post either
