All our Quik Email accounts down again yesterday for a few hours and this afternoon for no one knows how long.

Called Vodafone to ask for a time frame for current issue and then time frame for overall on-gpoing problem of email reliabilty as this has been going on for months now.

Was firstly told by the person on the helpline she was unsure as to when the current issue would be resolved and couldn't give me a time frame then as for the overall reliability issue she said that they haven't experienced any reliability issues over the last months and that my case was an isolated one and obviously it is a problem at my end and not Vodafones.

I told her that I am not the only person experiencing this reliabilty issue and that if she even googles it she will see it is not isolated issue. She still brushed it off and said it was a problem at my end.

I then said other had brought it to Paul Brislens attention via a forum she did a full turn and then said she didnt know and couldn't give a time frame for both the issues I had raised. I then said, you had just told me it was an isolated case and now your saying it isn't she said I am not admitting anything can I help you with anything else...

I just want to know Vodafone how much longer are we going to experience the email reliability issues? I run a business which relies heavily on email! I feel sorry for those who do not have access to these forums and could be misled by customer support to play around with things at their end when its Vodafones problems!!!!

Certainly not an isolated case, as reported today in their own forums: "Customers may be experiencing issues with sending & receiving emails. Our engineers are working to resolve this issue at the highest priority."

If you wish to continue the discussion, please open a new thread, as this one was for the Skycity events, and the (ongoing) Vodafone email problems are unrelated.

Are you using an @ihug.co.nz or @vodafone.co.nz address or do you have your own domain?
