Is it the whole country or just up north?
Can't access the main Vodafone website at all and all our clients that use Vodafone as their ISP have dropped off the internet!

Edit: I'm in Whangarei

I wondered why I couldn't access vodafone.co.nz!

Seems to work when accessing via 3G though (on my broken iPhone 4). I'm in West Auckland.

Yep a handful of our clients have called up to ask if we're out as well. Luckily we only use Vodafone for our domain and emails at work.
Mayhaps this is a good thing, been having massive issues with emails and internet the last month or so. Hopefully this is them fixing stuff.

I've just been on the phone with Vodafone and they said they can't even get to their own internal call logging systems, let along their website! - Sounds major. They didn't have any updates, however said they will post recorded announcements on their IVR system over the next few hours.....

I'd say we'll see some action on the 6pm news tonight!

Some sort of power issue @ SkyTower is the cause.

I can't resolve their DNS names either, so they really have fallen off the planet!

Even http://ismywebsiteupnow.com can't find them from 20 locations DNS wise.

Confirmed. ISPs are all running on UPS at APE at the moment. It's a bit of a race to see whose batteries last the longest.

Vodafone lost.

Telecom has the unfair advantage of not actually peering with everyone at APE :D
