Just to clear something up that has been asked a few times,

If you change between Smart plans IE smart 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 you still keep the 3Gig data bundle

Thanks John

Does "life of your smartphone plan" mean as long as you stay on the plan or just until your contract is up?

super impressed that they actually listened. I seldom go near my datacap at all but occasionally I have need to and its nice to know that it is available if necessary. Good one VF.

It would then be worded life of your Smart plan contract,

It's as long as you are on a Smart plan, In contract or out of contract

This is now officially the best value phone/text/data deal in NZ. There will be a lot of happy Vodafone customers today.

ahmad: Good job Vodafone. First time I can recall where those in charge of pricing have listened to their customers' feedback. Very impressed.

I recall when Vodafone NZ was going to introduce SIM Locking & in fact did so, for a very short period of time.

However, due to a public outcry on MANY different forums & no doubt traditional means of communication, they changed their minds & reversed their decision.

Thanks heaps Vodafone, for changing your mind on the 3GB & 1,000 Pxt offer. I personally use 2-3GB per month on my mobile & I'm very grateful for this change, since I only signed up in June this year.

Johnr.

Are some Smart customers on temporary double minutes (3 months) and others on "for the life of plan"? I remember there was a promotion a while back...? has the 3 months been extended to lifetime? or was it just for new customers?

Just asking because currently I have double minutes and I'm not sure if or when they are going to expire....?

Well done Vodafone!

The $40 a month question now is, whether to wait for the new plans to come out or sign up to a Smart Plan now, I guess this we will have to find out a little later.

Easy, snap up a smart1 now and re-evaluate/change plans in 6mths time without penalty... its a bit of a no brainer that you won't see a 3gb/mth data cap for $40/mth
