Delorean:

@senecio

Correct, That is different to what I was meaning; that said, even with that issue, it isn't better than getting a sat dish, a new box and a bill that's three times what you are paying to get sports.

Despite the minor issues with SkySport Now, it's a good option; and you don't need to talk to anyone.

To be fair, its not even twice the price of Sky sport now. Ive had both and I will and do pay more for the box and Satellite. SSN is trash compared to the box, plus you get Sky Go for free with 2 concurrent users (no password sharing issues within NZ) and that is even better than SSN. Its a no brainer IMHO

Adding Voda TV back into my system tonight.
Given i have to keep flicking between Sky Pod and TVNZ anyway at least ill now have decent audio streamed in 5.1ch vs 2ch which is appalling.
Im going to keep it running for as long as it will last now.

Anyone know if you use SkyGO if you just have a SkyPod?

The terminology on the Sky webpage refers to Skybox but I am assuming that is a reference to when there was just  one SkyBox

On the other hand I could try it out he said as he typed above lines :-)

Thats what i'm wondering , is the Skypod just a hardware device accessing the existing skygo streams. Anyone with the knowhow to rip the Skypod apk? or log the streams in wireshark? to compare?

as what i've found is streams exist, for the TVNZ channels, produced by Sky,  and thats despite them not officially being on the service as planned.

The skygo kodi addon seems to ignore concurrency limits ;-)

Today is the 14th day since Vodafone TV “shutdown” yet it’s still fully functional. Does anyone have any further information on when it will actually be switched off?

Ensure you give your set top box a cuddle before bed tonight.

On my menu screen a message is displayed that the box will reset at midnight tonight and won't be able to be used again. I will miss my Vodafone TV

The message on the Vodafone TV guide page now says "LAST DAY.  Vodafone TV will close from midnight tonight".

Damn.

I wonder if we can avoid the reset by disconnecing the stb from the internet tonight?  Are they resetting the stb or the whole vodafone tv system?
