So it has. As noted on the website "until 30 August". Wow a whole month and a half.

Won't even be that long for some. My addon renewed the morning. Says I've used 40 of my 100 mins already and yet I haven't made any calls. Guess I'll get a months usage.

Handsomedan: I still think in these days of large files, high speed devices and alswys-on connectivity, data should be cheaper and more.

500MB is miserly.

I keep having to purchase at least 2 'smart boost' 100MB packs every month as i always use up the measly 500MB on smart19data.
Dont care about 'more minutes' per month. need more data per month.

You are not crazy, that is how insane the pricing is with these $19 plans compared to being on contract.

I frequanly end up with data on my crappy phone, and none on the mobile hotspot so I just swap sims over and keep on going, Means people call me on a device that has no ability to take calls but oh well.

Does Vodafone do over-the-phone-only offers for plans? I'm trying to figure out the call I just took was legit.

Not sure how this is related to the $19 Prepay Smart data plan but Yes Vodafone does do phone offers

Thanks Johnr - it's related because I'm currently on it :P or a version of it, the one with the added bestmate anyway.

You are on Smart19Data with NZBestmate + $6

It seems like a "match telecom temporarily so customers dont jump ship" move.

10/10 would consider changing to 2degrees if they had better coverage at my house

Hmmmm, as a current Smart19 user... those other plans seem mighty tempting indeed.

I think a coverage check and switch to whichever has best is required.
I would rather stick with Voda, but for 180 minutes and an extra 500mb.... definitely a go.

Don't forgot this is comparing Vodafones standard offer against 2 degrees and Skinnys Xmas offerings which finish in January

The current Vodafone Smart19 Data promo is every time you top-up you can choose to double either your data or Minutes. Add 4G into that mix and it's pretty competitive
