chrispchikin: I believe the IGMP quickleave is an advanced option that would have to be configured in the cli by editing the igmpproxy.conf file.

Add 'quickleave' to the file (it may be in the /conf/ directory)

Shouldn't be any performance impact, no.

You can try '0.0.0.0/' in the upstream settings to rule that out for testing.

Looks like quickleave is already set, maybe that's the issue?:

igmpproxy doesn't seem to run at all with 0.0.0.0/anything in the upstream config..

Could be the issue, give it a whirl...any luck checking your DNS config for the STB?

STB DNS is fixed 192.168.1.1 (pfsense LAN)

pfSense DNS is from Vodafone 203.109.191.1, 203.118.191.1

Just trying to figure out how to edit it (and figure out vi) as it's not in: /var/etc/igmpproxy.conf

Only found a copy in /tmp/igmpproxy.conf, stopped igmpproxy and edited it however was overwritten after I restarted the service?

try /usr/local/etc/igmpproxy.conf

find the line with 'quickleave'

type 'dd' quickly to delete the line

type ':' then 'wq!' then press enter

Yeah my test PC is using same DNS.

Can't find that config file there either; running pfSense 2.1.4 x64

Something of note though; when streaming through HG659 I get no WAN bandwidth drop (so VF somehow magically routes it's multicast traffic so as not to affect your WAN bandwidth, something I was aware of anyway).

However when routing through pfSense the streams seem to affect my WAN bandwidth which lends me to believe I have a fundamental config error. Would be good if someone from VF could confirm whether VFTV uses a different VLAN or some other wizardry like that, or does it all just come down to setting up PCP properly?
