jasonwaiheke: I have had nothing from Vodafone as of yet as to any increase in my plan price, however I did only begin a new contract with them in November last year...?
Lurch: Why does this cover LLU connections, it is the ISPs own gear?
Anyway it is dishonest hiding behind the CC as an excuse, most of the increases are not plans/services affected.
If they need to increase because of other reasons then just come out and say it.

hairy1: Yeah but swearing and not correctly labeling companies is against the fug.
The costs of delivering both broadband and home phone services to New Zealanders has increased for all providers which impacts the vast majority of consumer customers in New Zealand.
However, existing customers that are currently on a fixed term will receive a $4 credit every month until the end of the fixed term period of their contract.
SteveC: I think this is the kicker, from http://www.vodafone.co.nz/pricechanges/The costs of delivering both broadband and home phone services to New Zealanders has increased for all providers which impacts the vast majority of consumer customers in New Zealand.
Those of us in the minority are (at some point) going to have to pay anyway. For fixed term customers who have not read that page, it also says:However, existing customers that are currently on a fixed term will receive a $4 credit every month until the end of the fixed term period of their contract.
The bigger the Telco, the greater th:e arrogance, and Vodafone are the biggest.

You answered your own question why you not have got anything from Vodafone
' under contract '

Doesn't that conflict with an earlier post?
"In an email today
"Hello
We want to tell you about some important changes that we are making to the Vodafone broadband and home
phone plans. As you may have seen recently reported in the media, there have been changes in the industry to
the costs of delivering broadband and home phone services for all providers in New Zealand. These cost changes
affect the conditions that all providers operate under and unfortunately our prices will need to change to reflect
these new conditions.
From 1 February 2015, the monthly fee for your plan will increase by $4 per month. However, because you are
only part way through your contract term, we will apply a monthly credit of $4 to your account until the end of
your current contract term, so you will not have an extra charge during that time.""

100 down 10 up cable is pretty nice here.
