pamgar: This is just a little bit different to the above discussions.
I have a subscription to Soho and have an HD ticket but have just discovered that T Box customers do not receive Soho in HD. The Telstraclear website shows that HD is available on Soho but have been told by Telstraclear that the info on the website is incorrect. I also discovered that I can watch all my Sky channels on ISky on my computer except Soho. It doesn't seem quite right to me.

How did you sign up with iSky? I didn't think TCL customers could? (in fact I think TCL themselves told me that?)
pamgar:
I have never been a previous customer of Sky
Go on to ISky and register/sign on. Go to 'manage my account' then 'my details', click on 'link to my TelstraClear Account'. Once you have completed these details you are able to watch the Sky channels to which you are subscribed.
I was also told by TelstraClear that ISky was not available to TelstraClear customers but Sky told me I was able to watch all those channels I was subscribed except Soho. So it seems TelstraClear doesn't always knows what is going on.

It seems you are right... I cannot watch live movies even though I am a subscriber although I can watch live sport and some other channels and watch the movies in the catchup section.
I wonder how long this service has been available to resellers customers?

You're so right. Thanks very much for finding this out. TelstraClear must surely know about this since they are validating against our account number and birth date. Next we'll find that we can schedule programmes using the Sky iPad app ;-)
Just one catch - trying to watch CNN and it's jerky as heck. My "15Mbps" cable link has trouble on YouTube too. Funnily enough, a couple of months ago I was told by TCL that they'd noted my Internet modem had a problem. When the tech came around to check-out my TV cable he knew nothing about that, and TCL just ignored it when I raised it again. Anyone else getting jerky video/sound over a cable link?
wekanz: lanceanz, Yes, I am getting the same problem with buffering on cable from Isky. Tried a couple of Skysport channels plus CNN to confirm it was on more than one channel. Wonder why? I don't feel my cable connection has any problems with being slow on Youtube, etc for internet services.
Stepdoh: Looking at my current options for when I move to wellington, and Telstra's seems a pretty good offer. Financially at least. Is the Freeview T-Box as much of a heap as it sounds in this forum? What I used to like about cable was that it was pretty robust compared to other options (partic DVB-T and satellite).
