Cue protests and scatterings of "dead birds" around anything that looks like a new cell tower or transmitter...

That's not a bug, it's a feature. Bird deterrent, drone interfere-eror and fast internet? Sounds perfect for an airport. And the same service can be sold three times!

Very bad idea at an airport, don't they know that 5G causes planes to fall out of the sky?
I think @sbiddle should setup a fibre feed Wi-Fi station so people can compare :)

I just think it's highly coincidental that on the day they announce 5G at the airport that flights get cancelled due to bad weather.

Don't know why they are throwing in a $10 premium charge after June to just use your data cap faster

Walked past there this morning and wondered why a Vodafone store needed bouncers out the front. That explains it.

Should have asked "Is that free coffee, bagels and cupcakes? I know Mauricio, can I come in?"

Safe to assume given how small the 5G coverage footprint is they won't bother updating their plans for a while

I'm hoping 5G will make me more...um...virile.

And maybe a bit leaner...whilst still having the ability to ingest as many carbs as I want.

Hopefully it won't take them too long to launch a fixed wireless offering. To me it seems like the only really compelling use case for 5G at this stage.
