quickymart: Hey John (or any VF coverage person) is there supposed to be 3G coverage at the ferry terminal at Matiatia on Waiheke Island? This afternoon all I could get was GPRS.

Also...is there supposed to be continuous 3G coverage across the Hauraki Gulf, when coming in on the ferry from Waiheke to Auckland? I found it very flakey and unreliable, yet my cellphone had a full GSM signal for most of the journey.

Radio waves and water do not mix well

So you don't recommend talking on the Vodafone XP3 Underwater? I have always wanted to try that :/

You can give it a go call me when you do
