spudster:

Another small issue I've noticed since the update:

When using the 20 sec skip buttons several times you now need to press the play button to resume playback.
Small but annoying problem that didn't exist previously.

Yes I've noticed this too sometimes not always - for me the fast forward snap shots pop up also and move when I push the 20 sec skip button, then I need to push play to restart, irritating.

My mum has been sent a Voda TV and the setup doesn’t have a wifi option? Do they not work on wifi? She’s in a granny flat so Ethernet cable is problematic. Vodafone haven’t been particularly helpful, only offering to send a Chorus tech (which I imagine she’ll get billed for). Sorry, I’m sure this has been covered but I can only find conflicting info.

Are you sure this is not a Vodafone TV Gen 1?

I suspect it is. It was sent to her from Vodafone as part of her new Fibre plan- weird that they'd be sending out Gen 1 boxes. Unfortunately I don't live close enough to go over and help her out. I suspect she's going around in circles trying to get VF to help. Do you think she should call them and ask for a Gen 2 box?

Gen 2 boxes come from retail stores or are purchased online, they aren't free on account.

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

Thanks guys, Zollymonsta helped out via PM. She’s going to get a VF wifi booster. Will see how that goes.

Today between 1:40PM and 2:30PM on half hour delayed playback I noted pauses on channel One while listening to Jacinda's annoucement., and it then playback locked up. I guess this was overloading of VTV.

I was watching it live on TV on my Gen 1 unit and noticed no interruptions.

@IvanPiacun  … was that using the Rewind feature, or OnDemand app?

It was on a delay from live viewing due to pauses earlier.

invisibleman18: Sky TV have emailed Sky Sport customers with some of offers such as free movies or entertainment packages while there is no live sport. Is there any word or whether these will extend to those who get Sky Sport through Vodafone TV?

We will be getting in contact with all Sport customers early next week.

I'm interested to know when this contact is likely to happen, otherwise will be cancelling Sky Sport for at least a while.

Ivan,

     >It was on a delay from live viewing due to pauses earlier.<

I'm sure you are trying to be helpful, but I do not understand at all.

You seem to be saying that you went to watch the announcement, but then put the device on pause, and then when attempting to watch it later there were hiccups?  Or you tried to watch by using some other means?
