The "change my plan" (sales) team isn't at work today (totally reasonable) so the customer service person who switched to the new phone's SIM card suggested we change the plan online. The customer portal's down though, which my fiance says is about normal.

I don't expect anything fixed in the next couple of days. If it proves unreliable Telecom may be a better option, though Vodafone are slightly better value I think.

We have a notification up on the VodafoneNZ community a few threads you start are already covered maybe you should save a link to the status page

Call back and ask a front line staff member to make the change if you can't do it online

I heard that Vodafone CEO is dealing with the issue. It will be a major blow to Vodafone if your fiance move to Telecom.

Seriously, what is the point of this thread? Are you threatening Vodafone?

I didn't start any threads on the Vodafone forum, I don't use it. Customer services can't change plans today apparently. Will call back in couple days.

Not a threat. Just mentioned if it's not reliable we'll find a service that is. Point of the thread is to tell Vodafone the customer portal is down so they can fix it some time.
