Good news for VFX and Xnet HSI customers ,

The management team here at WorldxChange (ably led by our CEO Cecil Alexander and Operations Director Paul Clarkin) have decided that effective 1st July customers that have both VFX and a XNet HSI connection, will have the monthly VFX charge waived.

This will be applicable until further notice and applies to first VFX line only.

Billing for VFX of $11.25 for users with non Xnet connections will start as of July 1st.

Great, good news. Thank you.

2 Questions:

What exactly does HSI stand for?

What about the monthly fee for additional lines (I have two).
Are they waived as well, or is it just for the 1st line?

This means

Im on Xnet broadband FS Plan

So Im a bit confused.....

You pay $11.25 for having VFX.You stating that from July 1st onwards it will be wave

Does that mean that if I join VFX I won't need to pay $11.25 a month of having VFX because I have HSI broadband with XNET

But your site says that if u join VFX you won't need to pay $11.25 until 1st July 2007 .So from August onwards you will need to pay $11.25?

JohnR is right HSI = High Speed Internet

Not at this stage , your monthly fees for VFX lines are waived if you have our internet service for the first line only,

(Post edited - this was my mistake intially I posted both lines)

The web site will be updated, Geekzone get this info firsthand Laughing, the Website will be updated shortly to reflect these changes.

Yes if you join VFX since you have HSI you will not be charged the $11.25 until further notice, hope that makes it clearer

Yes it was expiring at the end of this month but I think you can take it from me that this statement now changes what you may have been told  Wink

so to confirm we have decided to extend no charges for VFX indefinitely for users that have also have Xnet HSI.

Great news, thanks.  I still have the theory that you guys are doing this until we can get nDSL.  But your last post says it is extended indefinately?  That is a really long time!  Or are you just putting it in simple terms with minimum confusion?

So does "until further notice" mean until LLU takes effect? Smile

Why a "broadband phone"? Why not a PAP2T device with a standard, old analogue phone plugged to it? It will cost much less than half of this price. If you are a student...

That's the device you are using isn't it Mauricio?

By the way -- how are you finding VFX?

Is the Voice Quality good?
Any other comments about your experience with VFX?

Because according to Xnet website the telephone is plugged into the ethernet port of the broadband modem

I asked my father in Hk of how they use their broadband telephone. They treat it as a landline telephone but its hooked up into fibre optic and are connected to a box where it is broadband ..So many different varieties.

I think I'll just stick to Skype
