Had more than enough of Vodafone using and abusing my cell number for marketing.

Have "unsubscribed" via their call centre all to no avail.

I am already a customer so do not appreciate being constantly hassled for more, more, more.

Is there someone here who can help?

Are they marketing SMS you are getting and how long ago did you request not to get them via customer service?

SMS reminders can't be stopped like reminder of active addons or your plan is going to renew in X number of days

Have you simply replied to one with STOP like all marketing texts tell you?

What number(s) are you getting those SMS from? Can you also share the content?

Generally takes a couple of days once you unsubscribe before the SMS will stop

Can you block the number on your device?

That is my fallback. I'm not sure if works for alpha-callerID.

I have PM'd off board by someone at Vodafone so hopefully their changes fix the issue. I also added my wfe's and mother's numbers to my request.

I really wish it were possible to completely disable SMS. I never use it for any personal communication, so killing it off completely would be an easy way to avoid spam.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.
