I Keeped my prepay number and changed to on account.
and I whated to see how meny free  aiirtime i got left to call. so i have a look
and its says this
Your balance Find out more about your balance
Sorry, balance not available

top up now

so i called them they deleted the online account and told me to

Register ones more so i did and still the samething
so i called back and they say the same thing so i did it ones more
and then i called back and then guy put me on hold and then i vocie thing says
thanks for calling vodafone have a nice day and the call had ended so i called and then i talked to the guy about it and he cut me off too. WTF vodafone

ah welcome to vodafone, we don't give a stuff just pay your bill.

Your not the only one that has been hit with vodafone's crappy customer service.

You can try and post on there new forum's but don't be surprised if they delete it as I am sure they only open the forum so they can take bad comments away from here and make them look good.

What are you basing that on, Mrtoken? Vodafone has never removed a post from the forum and, barring some kind of legal issue, I can't foresee a time when we will.

I'll certainly edit out swear words and anyone who signs up to post a comment agrees to a set of terms and conditions, as you do here, but that's not what you're suggesting, is it?

If the original poster wants to PM me, I'll see what we can sort out.

Yet "We reserve the right to edit, modify, suspend, terminate or remove the Vodafone Forum including its contents at any time, without notice and for any reason" is clearly posted under the terms and conditions.

Still, I doubt Vodafone will go around deleting slightly agitated posts at whim. However you should expect a certain level of moderation to 'shape' the forum atmosphere. I don't think they'll allow openly negative VF statements. Or will they Paul? If you're running the forum I suspect at least a more weighted level of moderation than the 'higher ups' Wink

OK, here's how it is.

All forums have guidelines. Mauricio has guidelines here. We have guidelines at the Vodafone Forum.

We will be enforcing them. So, if you want to swear, cuss, shout, rant, libel, show pictures of your bottom or otherwise act in a similar manner, you won't be welcome.

If you want to ask a question, answer a question, post a suggestion or otherwise get involved, you'll be welcome.

I was a journalist for ten years. I take a very dim view of censorship and any/all changes of a material nature should be (and will be) visible for all to see. Just as Mauricio - I get very grumpy about such things.

The idea that we'd set up a forum and then NOT allow customers to post their problems seems ... stupid. What would be the point? It's not going to fool anyone, especially the customers.

I'm all in favour of robust debate. I am not in favour of personal attacks or flame wars, but if you have a point of view you're welcome to put it as forcefully as you want, so long as it's within the guidelines.

If you want to know how robust this is a story about a story I ran on the front page of Computerworld when I was editor. I started at Vodafone the following month. I'm not afraid of robust debate, I'm not about to edit it out of the Vodafone Forum. I will, however, be insisting on a decent standard of language/decorum/behaviour/dress etc at all times Tongue out.

I hope that clarifies matters for you. Whether you want to argue about service levels on Geekzone or PressF1 or GP Forums or Skankyflat, or Vodafone's Forum, or anywhere you can find an audience, you can. And if I find a question, I'll answer it, unless of course you switch off Private Messaging and I can't reply to you (someone's done that - PM me your email address if you like).
