They are using their faithful D-Link DSL-502 (it was working OK on Xtra) and have purchased the Max/128 plan. Sorry, I forget TCL's brand name for the service.
I noticed that quite a few downloads dropped out, so I ran a speedtest via speedtest.net - and the results don't really look like Max to me:

They are within 15km of central Auckland.
I'm wondering if there are some ADSL settings which may need a tweak on the modem to get it behaving normally, or if this is normal for TCL internet in Auckland, or ... what else I can do to help them get reasonable service out of their new provider.
I couldn't see a "bandwidth usage" facility on the ClearNet website, though after logging into the account section I was amused by the advice to upgrade to Internet Explorer 3.0.1 for the best viewing experience. (Er, 1996? Yeeha!)
