Hi all,

My wife and I are on a Vodafone red share plan, we have noticed that yesterday and today the internet on our phones is very very slow and unreliable, I have tried all sorts such as changing the settings in my phone like selecting Vodafone from networks and also select automatically etc. With everything I have tried I am starting to think this could be an issue with Vodafone, but there is no mention of anything on their site.

Anyone else experiencing this?

It would help if you expanded this - a lot.

Where is it happening? Everywhere or mostly in one location? What region/town/city/suburb? How are you measuring this - streaming something, just visiting websites, speed test?

Does the phone show 3G, 4G or 4G+? How many bars?

What phone? All updated?

Yeah sorry I do not usually have this problem,

I work in Rolleston and live in Hornby Christchurch, having trouble in both locations.
Measuring just by using social media, and google etc, everything is super slow to load (if it loads at all)
Phone shows 3 bars and 3g
Phone did a software update about two days ago, come to think of it this is when the trouble started, but that would not explain my wifes phone also, unless hers has come right now (have not checked)

Have also tried selecting 2g and 3g only, but with no luck I have selected the default which includes 4g

Have you tried clearing the cache if it is a Samsung Galaxy, or other Android phone. If it is not that type of a phone what type is it?

I find this on iphone somtimes.....clear your webbrowser cache and history etc.

Check what backround app permissions you have (any new apps)?

Do you have back ups enabled?

Sorry to be precise I meant the App Cache, or even the Android System Cache.
