Hi guys,

Firstly, I hope this this is posted in the right section. Mods please feel free to move it if not.

Ok, I have a Nokia 8800, and when I turn it on I seem to only get a blank white screen.

I was wondering if anyone here has had a similar problem with their phone?

Was it fixable? What was the problem? How much did it cost to repair?

Thanks

Ebbi

Usually either software corruption or component corrosion. Since the model is high end, corruption is less likely. You've also had it for some time as the model is dated so it's had a good chance to get corrosion from moisture in the air - NZ is terrible for this. Liquid damage is not cost effective to fix. However if you love it I would advise getting it looked at by someone in the know.

It could be a simple flex cable problem. This is common to 8800's. Have it assessed for flex cable fault. Good luck!
