Hi team,

After a lot of testing it appears that any router other than the vodafone unit keeps dropping live TV from gen1 and 2 units.

Are there any settings to be aware of to help prevent this?

Currently have a ubiquiti edgerouter and WAP points and the VTV is connected over ethernet.

Cheers!

That's strange - I don't think there is anything about the Vodafone TV that makes it need special settings. I use mine with a pfSense router, and don't have any issues with it dropping.

Agreed its strange, but it does it without fail and was the same on an Asus 5300 router too.

Maybe you could supply the config of your Edgerouter.

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

You should really have continued this in your existing thread - since your issue is almost certainly related to your network setup and attempting to use multiple routers.

You already have a topic on the exact same thing. It is your network configuration.
