I have just moved from Manukau to Howick and the Evening slow downs have worsen in my new area.  During the day its fine but at night pages load very slowly (if at all) (and no we arent downloading or any traffic which would slow it down and im in my data plan limit)

Could someone look at my modem stats and advise if im on a cabinet or not (If so im on HCK/FX)
Connection Speed 8064 kbps 160 kbps
Line Attenuation         2 db        0 db
Noise Margin             14 db      26 db

Would be good to hear from other vodafone customers experiencing this evening slowdown and what area or exchange you are on

I am in CHC and have been experiencing the exact same thing for the past 5 or 6 nights.  Extremely slow loading, even NZ content, from around 5pm onwards.  Only seems to have been an issue over the past 5 to 6 nights.  Our line speed is up around the 8Mbs speed also.

Please log fault tickets with fixed line support. Make sure you ask and write down the ticket number. Ask for the ticket to be passed to the next level of support.

Thanks John

I've been experiencing this same issue for the past week or so too. I've been following the thread carefully, but this evening the slow speed is way too annoying. Done all the necessary checks on my end, this slow down is so inconvenient.

I have heard nothing since I rang up and made the team aware of my issue. Am I supposed to be kept in the loop, or do I need to keep ringing back. Performance is still crap, and to be honest, it isn't good enough considering the monthly charges.

I have just rung Vodafone and all I was told it is a Nationwide issue and I would have to wait.
I am at the point where I am ready to get rid of Vodafone!
The performance is not acceptable.

I started a thread about this a couple of weeks ago with no responses.

It appears as though Vodafone are over subscribing. Everyone is jumping on board with the extra data and My Sky deal.

Vodafone PLEASE buy more bandwidth. These slow speeds in the evenings are shocking

Pull your hair out slow - Websites (local and international) dont load/or load very slowly and happens like clock work every day from 5pm ish

I personally know Manukau (with no cabinet) and Howick (on a cabinet) have the issue

The person above said Vodafone is aware of the problem - so I would avoid vodafone till they get it sorted

My router syncs at 8000kbps but only get 1500kbps down and 70kbps up - but during the morning its fine!!!
