Just don't understand. It's a worry that these people are out in society and reproducing. Seriously...would any sober and sane person do such a thing? Who's doing it...is it far left druggie conspiracy types who are high as a kite and freaking out that the government is controlling their minds or something? I just can't comprehend the stupidity and selfishness of these people. 😵

Whats the bet all these people own cell phones and have wifi in their house anyway?

If they are worried about cancer, I suggest they ditch the chemicals in their garage, and start eating healthy balanced diets.

Feels like they've been quite happy to have been using 2G for a number of years. Could be a market to offer them only 2G services.

If you can't laugh at yourself then you probably shouldn't laugh at others.

I would think these people are lucky they're not in the US the UK or many other Asian or European countries, my understanding is that an attack on critical infrastructure would result automatically in terrorism charges.

.... if they can be caught.

As it should do here. Since shooting them is unlikely here which is my first preference for dealing with anyone attacking any infrastructure.

neb: This story 5G Virus Conspiracy Theory Fueled by Coordinated Effort might be of interest to some...

I don't know how many read the linked article.

One of the scary things was the links to governments who seem to be fostering this BS in an attempt to create instability in other parts of the world.

Although it doesn't go into 5G and millimetre waves, the American Cancer Society has a decent website discussing 4G, phone towers, and skin penetration. Surely if people were scared about cellular networks and 5G, they would start there. I guess its the fact that 5G is relatively unknown to the general public that causes a huge scare. That and Facebook being a key source of news and fear-mongering.

They won't go there because it's not telling them what they want to hear. Earlier in this thread I posted about some comments from a Vodafone manager who went to talk to anti-5G protesters and asked them who they'd believe to tell them 5G was safe. After going through a list of potential authorities in various areas he was told that nothing anyone said would convince them that 5G was safe. These are True Believers, like Fox News viewers but even worse, nothing you do or say will convince them otherwise.

Or like Breitbart. Some of the comments on the (rather snarky) headline stories there can be quite..."out there". Probably "out there" being as far right as you can possibly go on the political spectrum.

Usually the far right behind these. QAnon, Covid-19, 5G, Pizzagate, all branches of the same tree.

Tends to not really be a drug thing - more just a distrust of the world, a desire to belong, and a longing to feel like you’re into something and in the know. Often stems from needing an explanation for things happening the world.

It's also because the far right aren't necessarily the most grounded in reality people you've ever met - I mean these guys want to believe in every loony thing that turns up short of the lizard people - which means they tend to get ostracised or ridiculed by everyone else. Creating the myth that they have true knowledge about the world and that those laughing at them are all part of a conspiracy to suppress them and their true knowledge helps deal with this.

There's a few names in the likes and comments that could perhaps lead to information on the perps.

Not grounded in reality is right. I find it very fascinating following some of them and reading the theories.

And then I feel quite bad for them because genuinely believing some of this stuff is actually quite sad.
