kiwifidget: Can you do an in-place upgrade of Win7Pro to Win10TP, or do you have to install to an empty drive?
Also, what happens when it gets released properly? Reinstall again from scratch?

its a Technical Preview, its full of telemetry so Microsoft can collect usage information to improve the product, whether that's a virtual or a physical bare metal machine.

Fair enough,just thought I'd raise the issue.
Out of curiousity and ignorance, if I ran this on my main machine within a virtual machine would any information from my main partition be accessable to the telemetry function.
(ie Im very cautious about my giving my personal email address out which why its still spam free 14 years)
