Brumfondl:
insane: Question, on my one PC I have an OEM version of windows 7 pro 32-bit (only), it has no 64-bit version on the original media.

If I download the Windows 10 Pro 64-bit media will I be able to install it using the key I have for the 32-bit OEM version?

You would need to upgrade to the 32 bit version of W10 and then clean install to the 64bit version as you can't upgrade from 32 to 64.

When making media with the download tool you can specify an image that is both 32 and 64 bit.

Yeah makes sense, having issues with verifying the 32 & 64 bit media though. The 64 bit only downloaded OK, might try just the 32-bit media download only.

Windows 10 Enterprise is now available for those with an Action Pack subscription.
Not sure why it is Enterprise when previous versions of Windows have only been Pro.

There was an Enterprise version of Windows 7, used it as the standard image at the last place I worked as it had bit-locker and used the same key as the pro version.

Windows 8 and 8.1 only had Pro.

You can use the downloadable ISO at http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10   Using that ISO, run SETUP.EXE from within Windows 8.1

Had the same issue. What worked was using the tool again this time selecting the ISO option, and downloaded it as is. Then mounted the iso in windows 8 and run the setup.exe. Worked no issues. Update the install and away you go.

Not sure why running it from the USB causes the something happened error.

Hope that helps.
